Wheaton pays $150m for 50% of Cozamin mine’s silver
Mining News Pro - Wheaton Precious Metals and Capstone Mining have struck a deal whereby the streaming company will pay $150 million for a share of the silver output from Capstone’s Cozamin copper mine in Zacatecas state, Mexico. In 2019 the mine produced 35.84 million lbs. copper, 1.16 million oz. silver, and 18.46 million lbs. zinc.
